XLPE 3+2 Cores Copper Cable Application

The structure of 3 cores+2 earth is designed for application where the earth wires are required according to customer requirements. These cables are often referred 3 cores +2 cables XLPE insulated with voltage 600/1000v or IEC60502 3 cores +2 cables.

These cables are used for outdoor and indoor installations in damp and wet applications. They are normally used for power distribution in urban networks, industrial plants and energy distribution. For mains, submains and subcircuits unenclosed, enclosed in conduit, buried direct or in underground ducts for buildings and industrial plants where not subject to mechanical damage. Suitable where space is at a premium.

1. Conductor: Plain annealed copper, Class 1: solid conductor, or Class 2: stranded conductor
2. Insulation: Cross-linked polyethylene XLPE
3. Filler: Non-hygroscopic material
4. Binder tape: Non-hygroscopic material
5. Outer sheath: Polyvinyl chloride PVC
